3 Point Perspective City

Graphite (20x30)

In a nutshell, this was hell. Final assignment for Gary Meyer's Perspective class: draw a city in 3pt perspective, with the main building at whatever-it-was height, etc, etc.

I need to rescan this on the school scanners. I had to scan this in 8 parts at home, and got different exposures for each; so when I pulled them into photoshop, it gave me some weird looking lighting.

Composition & Painting Final

Acrylic (9x11)

Comp & Painting final -- pick an article and illustrate it. I picked one of the many articles on the Numero Uno supermarket chain owner who apparently was using the local gangs to his advantage in that he was calling hits and what not. Still not finished, reworking in photoshop.

10 Hour Pose

Oils (7x12)

10 hour/ 2 week pose. This was technically my last painting of the term, there was another after this, but I ended up gessoing it due to ugliness. I spent the majority of my time working and reworking the face, and ran out of time and had to slap on the other eye in 5 minutes. In the end, the other eye just looked like crap and I tried to fix it up in photoshop. I'll have to go back over it in oils later.

Cypress of Stones

After Effects project for Digital Imaging. Objects drawn in Illustrator and imported into After Effects. Music is a 30 second clip of Glósóli by Sigur Rós.

Design 2 Work

Work done in Design 2. Every group of two illustrates a different design concept.

Design 1 Book

Decided that it would be a good idea to upload the Design 1 Notebook from first term. Took the majority of the header photos in one night a few days before Christmas.

Myself and two others worked on putting these books together for almost a week and in the end still barely had enough time to finish them.

2 Point Perspective Japanese House

Graphite (20x30 crop)

Well. This was the product of over eight hours of hell and frustration, several re-drawings, and one broken drafting pencil. Gary has done it again.

But damn, it was worth it. Scored 110 out of 100 points. :]

Composition & Painting Midterm

Photoshop (11x17)

Can't remember when this was finished, but it was probably around Week 9 or 10. The assignment was to illustrate an article of my choosing. I picked one about some guy who tried making coffee with odd things because his water is frequently shut off just as hes getting out of bed. Turns out hes tried black tea, Perrier, and flower vase water. None of which worked, might I add.

Completed Cover Remake

Finished this a while ago, but didn't have a chance to post due to the INTENSITY of finals.
