I've been playing around with core shadows and shading with the form; I really like how it turns out. I will be definitely sticking to this technique for a while.

Thumper Studies

A fun homework assignment for a class in which we had to copy Thumper in 14 poses and invent 16 or more on our own.

Logo Redesign

So I decided that it was time to redesign my logo, here are some of the preliminary sketches. I want to go for a more corporate feel. However, on the other hand I want for it to be a little more personal. The little box is a bit of an inside joke. I have a habit of drawing cubes and boxes when I blank out on what to draw. Haha.

Learning Gouache

First time painting a portrait in gouache. It's a pain, but this is an improvement from my first few paintings.

Figure Compositions

All of them were five minute poses. The first image was a memory exercise where we were to draw the model inverted -- like a mirror image. It was fun, but frustrating at the same time.
